NOTICE OF A CHANGE IN THE TARIFFS OF Y-W ELECTRIC Association, Inc., 26862 HWY 34, PO Box Y, Akron, CO  80720.

You are hereby notified that the above-named Association proposed to make changes in its Rules and Regulations to become effective June 1, 2021.  The Association's Board of Directors approved changes to the Association's Net-Metering Rule found at Section L. of it's Rules and Regulations effective June 1, 2021.  The Rule was modified to limit a customer-generator's generation to 120% of the customer-generator's average annual energy consumption.  The changes provide Y-W the option to immediately disconnect the customer-generator under certain circumstances and, in other circumstances, provides the customer-generator the opportunity to bring generation below the 120% limitation, thereby avoiding disconnection.  The changes also modify the amount paid to the customer-generator at the end of the year for excess generation.  The Rule sets forth the formula for determining the payment.

The full language of the Net Metering Rule, as modified, can be viewed at the office of the Association located at 26862 HWY 34, Akron, CO 80720, by viewing it on the Association's website, or by calling the Association at 970-345-2291 and requesting a copy of the change.

Anyone who desires to complain about the changes shall file a written complaint with the Association at 26862 HWY 34, Akron, Colorado at least ten (10) days before the proposed effective date.

The Association may hold a hearing to determine what changes will be authorized.  The changes ultimately authorized may or may not be the same as those proposed and may include changes different than those tariffs proposed or currently in effect.  Anyone who desires to receive notice of hearing, if any, shall make a written request therefore to the Association, at the above address at least ten (10) days before the effective date.
