Applicable to consumers for usage of motors and appurtenances thereto on the same meter operating oil wells with horse head pumps, subject to the established rules of the Association. Motors on oil well pumps other than sucker-rod type above will be billed on the Power Service Rate.
Available throughout the service area of the Association, subject to the line extension policy.
Type of Service
Single or three-phase, 60 Hertz, 120/240 or 120/208 or 480 volts as available and acceptable to the Association.
Service Charge (Per Meter, Per Month)
|First 200 kWh/kW/Month||0.090600 Per kWh|
|Next 200 kWh/kW/Month||0.077300 Per kWh|
|Over 400 kWh/kW/Month||0.064000 Per Kwh|
|All kW of Billing Demand||$4.55 Per kW|
The minimum charge per month per meter shall be the highest of:
- The service charge plus the demand charge,
- The amount as specified in the service agreement, or
- $1.00 per kVA of required transformer capacity
If electric service to the location has been extended under the line extension policy, then the minimum shall be the greater of the minimum as specified in this rate or the line extension minimum as specified in the AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE. This minimum shall apply to the service beyond the initial term of the contract regardless of ownership.
Connection or reconnection of an existing service will be made providing the consumer pay a charge of $15.00.
Determination of Billing Demand
The billing demand shall be the maximum kilowatt demand established for any consecutive 15 minute period during the month as measured by a suitable demand meter, but not less than the minimum demand specified in the agreement for electric service, but in no event less than 5kW for single phase installations and 10 kW for three phase installations. Measured demand will be adjusted for power factor as provided below.
Power Factor Adjustment
The consumer agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable. The horsepower determined above may be increased to obtain billing horsepower if and when the Association deems necessary by increasing the determined horsepower by 1% for each 1% by which the power factor is less than 95% lagging.
Terms of Payment
In the event the current monthly bill is not paid within twenty (20) days from the billing date, it will be delinquent. At that time, each account with a delinquent balance will be assessed a $10.00 late charge. Bills that remain delinquent at the start of the next billing cycle will be assessed an interest charge of 1% of the amount unpaid at that time and may also be subject to disconnection for non-payment. However, disconnection for non-payment shall not relieve the consumer of responsibility for the payment of the bill and additional interest penalties shall be added at the beginning of each subsequent billing cycle at the rate of 1% per month.
